Parvati Hill, Temple complex on a hillock in Pune, India

A series of 103 stone steps leads to the summit of Parvati Hill, which rises 640 meters above sea level in southern Pune.

The Peshwa ruler Balaji Baji Rao constructed the main Devdeveshwara Temple in black stone during 1749, adding a gold pinnacle in 1760.

Five temples crown the hill, dedicated to Devdeveshwar, Kartikeya, Vishnu, Vitthal, and Rama, forming an important religious center for Hindu devotees.

Visitors can access the temples daily between 5:00 AM and 10:00 PM, with no entrance fee required to explore the complex.

The Peshwa Museum displays historical artifacts including weapons, coins, wooden furniture, and palanquins from the Maratha period.
