Katrenikona mandal

Katrenikona Mandal is an administrative region covering around 170 square kilometers in Andhra Pradesh with numerous villages organized under local panchayat bodies. The area functions as a local government unit managing both rural and agricultural activities across its territory.

The mandal took its present administrative form with the creation of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district in 2022 as part of a broader restructuring in Andhra Pradesh. This reorganization was designed to bring governance closer to local communities in the region.
