Silver Star Mountain Resort, Ski resort in North Okanagan, Canada.
Silver Star Mountain Resort is a ski area in the Monashee Mountains featuring 3,282 acres of skiable terrain with 132 marked runs. The terrain spreads across nine separate ski pods to serve skiers of all ability levels.
The resort started with basic skiing facilities and developed into British Columbia's third largest winter sports destination. Infrastructure expanded and modernized steadily from the late 20th century onward.
The village nestled on the mountainside displays colorful buildings that reflect regional building traditions and create a welcoming hub for staying and dining. Walking through the lanes, you notice how the local aesthetic shapes the overall character of the place.
Twelve modern lifts, including express chairlifts and a gondola, transport visitors across different areas of the mountain. All runs are marked by skill level so you can easily find terrain that matches your ability.
Natural snowfall averaging 700 centimeters per year makes artificial snow production unnecessary. This abundant natural snow cover allows for consistent and optimal skiing conditions throughout the entire winter season.
