Perrot Villa, Architectural heritage villa in Pregny-Chambésy, Switzerland.
Perrot Villa is a brick house near Geneva built in 1881 in Louis XIII style. The building features red brickwork with pink-hued sandstone trim and granite columns that were brought from Scotland.
Architect Jacques-Elysée Goss designed the villa in 1881, replacing an older house that had stood on the site. The original building had been built in 1723.
The name comes from a prominent family who settled in the area during the 19th century. The estate shows how wealthy households of that era chose to display their status through distinctive architectural choices.
The estate sits within a park with mature trees, offering partial glimpses of Lake Geneva through the greenery. Access is straightforward using local roads, making it convenient to visit the area.
The property once had a massive Wellingtonia tree that was destroyed by a windstorm in 1947. That tree was among the tallest ones in the whole region at the time.
