Schlossgarten Stuttgart, Royal garden park in Stuttgart, Germany

The Schlossgarten spans 64 hectares from Stuttgart city center to the Neckar River, featuring lakes, fountains, and tree-lined paths through landscaped gardens.

The first mention of a garden near Stuttgart Castle dates to 1350, with major transformations occurring during the Federal Garden Shows of 1961 and 1977.

The park houses the Stuttgart State Theater, Opera House, and Art Gallery, serving as a central location for performing arts and exhibitions.

The garden divides into three sections - Upper, Middle, and Lower Gardens - connected by pedestrian bridges across intersecting streets.

The Felix-Mendelssohn-Bartholdy Avenue cuts through the Lower Garden in a straight line, accompanied by a stream flowing into multiple lakes.
