Schweizer Bobbahn

Schweizer Bobbahn is a steel roller coaster at Heide Park featuring white tracks supported by green steel columns. The course winds through the park with varying elevation changes and passes through several enclosed tunnel sections.

The ride opened in 1978, built by Mack Rides GmbH & Co KG, and became a major addition to Heide Park's early attractions. It has remained a classic feature of the park for generations of visitors.

The name references Swiss bobsledding, drawing inspiration from winter sports in Alpine regions. Visitors experience this Alpine connection through the ride's design as they travel along the winding track.

Trains with seven cars seat fourteen riders in two rows and process many visitors each hour efficiently. Try to ride during less busy times of day if you want to avoid lengthy wait periods.

The ride achieves speeds around 53 km/h (33 mph) without any inversions, creating a different kind of thrill. This moderate speed approach makes it appealing to riders seeking a fun rush without the intensity of looping coasters.
