Münchner Tor

Münchner Tor is an office tower in Munich standing 85 meters tall across 23 floors. The structure features an aluminum exterior on three sides paired with a glass facade on the fourth side that helps reduce noise penetration.

The project began as a competition-winning design selected in 1999 before moving into construction. Building work took place from 2000 until June 2003, representing a notable addition to Munich's commercial architecture of that era.

The building displays artworks by multiple artists throughout its interior and exterior spaces. These installations give the location a character that extends beyond its function as a workspace.

The location provides direct access to Munich's public transportation network and includes underground parking facilities. Visitors should understand this is primarily a working building with access during business hours.

The site preserves around 60 percent of its area as green space and incorporates a small lake into the grounds. This arrangement demonstrates how modern construction can coexist with natural features.
