Freizeitzentrum Xanten

Freizeitzentrum Xanten is a recreation area spanning roughly 250 hectares with two lakes called the North Sea and South Sea. The site offers boat rentals, water sports equipment, and multiple harbors with complete docking facilities available year-round.

The area developed over decades with the creation of Vynen marina, which brought modern harbor facilities to the region. This was followed by the establishment of Xanten marina, marking an expansion of water sports offerings.

The center hosts regular events like concerts and sports festivals that draw people from the surrounding region. These gatherings shape the rhythm of the place and create gathering points for local communities.

The site sits near motorways A57 and A3, making it easy to reach by car. Visitors should know that different seasons offer different activities and equipment availability can vary depending on the time of year.
