Stadtbad Halle, Indoor swimming complex in Halle, Germany.
The Stadtbad features two separate swimming halls: a rectangular pool of 312 square meters and an oval pool of 160 square meters with varying depths.
The construction of Stadtbad occurred between 1913 and 1915 under city building advisor Wilhelm Jost, opening its doors during World War I in 1916.
Sculptures by Paul Horn, including 'Fischmann' and 'Fischweib', decorate the entrance, while ceramic elements enhance the interior architectural design throughout the building.
The women's swimming section underwent renovations and reopened in October 2014, while the facility received substantial funding of 13.4 million euros in 2019.
The structure contains a tower with water tanks for both swimming halls and provides an observation deck overlooking the old town of Halle.
