The Oberpostdirektion Halle is an administrative building on the east side of the historic Berlin-Kassel road in Halle. The structure measures about 40 meters wide and 90 meters long and combines Neo-Renaissance and Late Romanesque elements across three floors.
Construction of this postal building began between 1839 and 1840 as part of Prussian infrastructure development along a major connecting road. It became the central administrative seat and shaped postal operations in Halle for generations.
The building reflects standardized postal architecture from the early 20th century and is now a protected monument. It represents an important part of the communication infrastructure that shaped Halle as a key hub.
