Sporthalle Brandberge, Indoor sports arena in Halle (Saale), Germany
The Sporthalle Brandberge features a total area of 9,400 square meters with four 200-meter running tracks and eight 60-meter competition lanes for athletics events.
The construction of Sporthalle Brandberge began following a city council decision in October 1994 and reached completion after 34 months in December 1997.
The facility hosts German Youth Indoor Athletics Championships and provides spaces for multiple sports including basketball, volleyball, handball, and Paralympic activities.
The indoor sports complex accommodates 3,500 spectators with 1,840 shell seats and maintains dedicated areas for long jump, high jump, pole vault, and shot put.
Adjacent to the main hall stands a specialized throwing facility, known as Wurfzentrum Brandberge, which extends the training capabilities of the sports complex.
