Ohmenkapelle St Märgen, Baroque chapel in St. Märgen, Germany.
The Ohmenkapelle stands on a hill 800 meters southwest of St. Märgen village, featuring elaborate Rococo carvings throughout its interior spaces.
Following the acquisition of Saint Judas Thaddeus relics in 1722, the first chapel was constructed in 1726, with the current structure completed in 1736.
The ceiling paintings, created between 1757 and 1788 by Johann Pfunner, display religious scenes alongside decorative architectural elements in baroque style.
Visitors can access the chapel daily from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm during summer months and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm from November to April.
A spring called Sankt Judas-Thaddäus-Brünnlein lies in the forest south of the chapel, connecting to the site's religious significance.
