St.-Nikolaus-Kirche

The St. Nikolaus Church features a seven-sided layout with a tent-like roof spanning over four blocks of pews and three passages leading to the altar area.

The original tower from 1275 remains integrated into the current structure, which replaced the previous church building between 1979 and 1980.

The entrance portal displays a children's circle decoration where young ones dance around the bishop's staff and miter, representing Saint Nicholas's symbols.

The church maintains barrier-free access and stands at Kirchplatz 6 in Schluchsee, with regular services held throughout the week.

Fifteen iron spheres containing the Stations of the Cross gradually close from station to station, ending with Jesus's burial visible through a narrow opening.
