Ursee, Nature reserve in Lenzkirch, Germany.

The Ursee nature reserve contains water bodies at 840 meters above sea level, fed by several small streams flowing toward the Haslach River.

Established in 1940, Ursee became the third protected area in the Black Forest region, following Feldberg and Wutachschlucht nature reserves.

Local folklore connects Ursee with Lake Titisee through tales of supernatural beings that inhabit the waters of both lakes.

The protected area spans 30.4 hectares and features marked hiking paths that guide visitors through different routes while preserving the natural environment.

The glacial lake has significantly decreased in size since the 1930s, leaving behind moraines and debris from the Feldberg glacier.
