The Godsbanen complex spans 10,500 square meters, featuring exhibition spaces, theaters, workshops, and a restaurant within restored freight yard buildings.

The site transformed from Aarhus Goods Station, operating from 1923 to 2000, into a cultural center through renovation projects completed in 2012.

The center hosts over 700 annual events, including theater performances, concerts, exhibitions, and workshops that engage both artists and community members.

Visitors can access open workshops, attend performances at Theater Katapult, dine at Spiselauget restaurant, or explore the rooftop for city views.

The Institut for (X), located behind Godsbanen, functions as an independent cultural platform where entrepreneurs, artists, and craftsmen develop their projects.
