Palacio de los Bernaldo de Quirós is a four-story mansion with a rectangular layout and symmetrical facades decorated with classical moldings and balconies beneath wide eaves. The entire property spans approximately 70,000 square meters and includes the main residence along with several outbuildings across the expansive grounds.
This location began as a medieval defensive tower that was transformed into a palace during the 17th century. Significant renovations carried out in the 19th century by architects Manuel and Juan Manuel del Busto gave the structure its present classical appearance.
A neo-Gothic chapel on the grounds is dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows and reflects the family's deep religious devotion. The chapel serves as a visual reminder of how faith shaped the design and purpose of the entire estate.
