Tour Michelet, Office skyscraper in La Défense, France

Tour Michelet is a 127-meter office tower in La Défense containing 34 floors of glass and steel construction. The building houses approximately 77,750 square meters of commercial workspace served by 14 elevators.

Architects Jean Willerval, Henri La Fonta, and Branco Vulic completed this office building in 1985 as part of the La Défense district development program. Its completion marked an important moment in the expansion of Paris as a business district.

The tower reflects how French companies chose to design their workplaces during the 1980s expansion of Paris as a business hub. Its presence shaped how people thought about modern office buildings in the region.

The tower is located at 24 Cours Michelet and sits within the La Défense business district. Being a corporate office building, access may be restricted and you should check conditions before visiting.

Total Corporation maintained its headquarters here until 2000, when they moved following a major acquisition. This move was a significant moment for both the company and the district.
