Tour Zamansky, High-rise building in the 5th arrondissement, France.

Tour Zamansky is a 24-floor office tower rising 90 meters above the Pierre-et-Marie-Curie Campus, serving as the main administrative center for university operations. Its concrete and glass structure makes it the tallest building on the campus grounds.

Architect Édouard Albert designed this tower during the 1970s as Paris modernized and expanded its scientific facilities across the city. The building emerged when the university transformed its urban campus to accommodate growing academic needs.

The tower reflects how the university occupies and transforms a historic neighborhood while coexisting with classical architecture around it. It serves as a modern landmark within the traditional Latin Quarter streetscape.

The building sits near Metro lines 7 and 10, making it easily accessible by public transportation for those exploring the area. You can view the structure from outside and walk around the broader campus to see related university buildings.

The campus occupies the former site of the Halle aux Vins, a historic wine market that once served as a storage and trading center. This transformation reveals how the city repurposed old commercial spaces for education.
