Tulja Bhavani Temple - Peddamunigal

Tulja Bhavani Temple at Peddamunigal is a Hindu sanctuary on the Krishna River banks near Nagarjuna Sagar Dam in Telangana state. The location sits within the dense Nallamala Forest, surrounded by secluded woodland landscape.

The current sanctuary was built in the 1950s through efforts of Kethavath Chandru Naik and community members, replacing an earlier cloth shelter structure. This development marked the transition from a simple prayer site to a formal place of worship.

The temple is dedicated to the goddess Tulja Bhavani, whom worshippers revere as a protector and upholder of cosmic order in local traditions. Pilgrims come here to seek personal blessings and express gratitude through their offerings.
