Saguna Baug spans 16 hectares of farmland featuring diverse agricultural activities, accommodation facilities, adventure sports, and educational programs about sustainable farming practices.

Established by Shekhar Bhadsavle in 1975 after returning from his corporate career in the US, the farm was developed on ancestral land to promote sustainable agriculture and rural tourism.

The farm demonstrates traditional Maharashtra farming methods through bullock cart rides, cow milking experiences, and Mallakhamb performances showcasing regional sports heritage and rural lifestyle traditions.

Located 5 kilometers from Neral railway station and 77 kilometers from Mumbai, the farm offers overnight accommodations including cottages, dormitories, and pond houses with advance booking recommended.

Visitors can experience exclusive water buffalo rides and taste specially cultivated purple rice produced through hybrid breeding techniques developed at the farm's research center.
