San Cesareo in Palatio

San Cesareo de Appia features a single nave with a wooden coffered ceiling decorated in blue and gold bearing Pope Clement VIII's coat of arms.

The church houses medieval mosaics transferred from the transept of Saint John Lateran Basilica, which now adorn its apse with intricate designs.
