The Church of San Lorenzo stands near Piazza Bruno Boni with a Latin cross layout and an octagonal cupola topped by a prominent lantern.
The original parish church from the 13th century underwent reconstruction between 1751 and 1763 following designs created by architect Domenico Corbellini.
The interior contains paintings by multiple artists, including the Martyrdom of St Lawrence by Giambettino Cignaroli and San Biagio by Lodovico Sigurtà.
Visitors can access the church through via Moretto, exploring four distinct chapels and two naves arranged within the religious structure.
The Madonna of Providence altar features cherubs sculpted by Antonio Callegari, adding artistic depth to the religious experience.
