Santa Maria dei Greci, Medieval church in old town center, Agrigento, Italy.
The church features three naves, a Gothic portal entrance, and a painted wooden beam ceiling dating from the fourteenth century.
Built between the twelfth and thirteenth centuries, the church stands on the foundations of a fifth-century Doric temple dedicated to Athena.
The interior walls display two remaining frescoes from a seven-piece cycle dedicated to Our Lady of Milk, depicting religious scenes.
The church contains glass floor panels allowing visitors to observe the ancient temple foundations, a crypt, and nineteenth-century colonnade underneath.
The stone walls feature engravings of the Triple Belt symbol, represented by three concentric squares indicating esoteric significance.
