Kokubu Station is a railway station in Kokubu-Chūō in the city of Kirishima, Japan. The station sits at ground level with three tracks and features a basic station building with ticket counters, a covered waiting area, and a footbridge connecting the platforms.
The station opened in November 1929 and became an important junction for regional trains connecting different parts of the area. In the early 1930s it was integrated into the main rail network, establishing direct connections between Kokura and Kagoshima that continue today.
