Central Japan International Airport Station, Railway station at Chubu Centrair International Airport, Japan
Central Japan International Airport Station is a railway terminal at Chubu Centrair International Airport featuring two elevated platforms and three tracks, with the main building situated directly beneath the platform level. The facility links the airport directly to regional rail services, allowing passengers quick connections to surrounding cities.
The station began operations in October 2004 initially for airport personnel and opened to the general public a few months later. This opening established a key connection between the airport and the regional rail network.
The station connects to the Flight of Dreams complex, which exhibits the first Boeing 787 and presents Japanese-American aviation technologies.
The station is well-served by regular train services connecting to the main station of a nearby major city. Tickets can be purchased at automated vending machines, which also accept electronic payment cards for convenience.
The terminal connects to a large complex showcasing the first example of a modern commercial aircraft and technologies from an international aviation partnership. Visitors can view this collection without needing to pass through airport security.
