Nakata Museum

Nakata Museum exhibits a collection of Western and Japanese art, including works by Corot, Renoir, Cézanne, and Ryūzaburō Umehara in its galleries.

The museum opened its doors in February 1997, establishing itself as a center for artistic expression in the Hiroshima Prefecture region.

The institution maintains a collection featuring paintings from notable Japanese artists such as Kazumasa Nakagawa, Takeshi Hayashi, and Wasaku Kobayashi.

Located at 6-11 Shiomi-cho, the museum operates from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM with admission fees of 800 yen for adults and 300 yen for students.

The museum closes annually during the summer season and between exhibitions, creating a rotating schedule that allows for new artistic installations.
