Mitsukyō Station, Railway station in Seya-ku, Yokohama, Japan

Mitsukyō Station is a railway station in Seya-ku, Yokohama, with two platforms and a bridged structure connecting the north entrance to the Sotetsu Life building. The facility creates an integrated complex where train services blend directly with retail spaces.

The station opened on May 12, 1926, as part of the former Jinchu Railway and has served the area's transportation needs since then. The current building was completed in October 1986, replacing the earlier structure.

The station's name comes from its location where three historical administrative regions once met during the Edo period. This geographical marker still shapes how local people think about the area today.

Access to the platforms is provided by elevators from the concourse, supporting visitors with limited mobility. Keep in mind that the platform safety features operate automatically, so allow them to function without interference.

Automatic platform safety doors became operational in November 2022, raising security standards for passengers. This technology reflects the modern safety improvements regularly implemented at stations in this region.
