Imamura Castle

Imamura Castle was a mountain fortress in Owari Province positioned strategically along the Imagumano River. Its elevated location provided defensive advantages and allowed the control of important trade routes passing through the region.

The castle served as the residence of Imamura Yoshimitsu, a vassal of Miyoshi Nagayoshi during the 16th century Sengoku conflicts. It played a key role in the military struggles that defined this turbulent era.
