Chiba Prefectural East Library

The Chiba Prefectural East Library contains multiple floors of reading spaces, research sections, and extensive collections of books organized by subject matter.

The library opened its doors on November 1, 1998, as part of an initiative to expand educational resources throughout the Chiba Prefecture region.

The library maintains collections in multiple languages and hosts regular exhibitions highlighting Japanese literature and regional documentary heritage.

Members can access digital catalogs, borrow materials for up to two weeks, and utilize interlibrary loan services with other institutions in the prefecture.

The facility incorporates specialized sections for local history research, including documents and photographs documenting the development of Asahi city.
