A sequence of gentle slopes forms a natural terrain that extends across the landscape, providing views of Toyama Bay and the Japanese Alps.

The hills served as strategic observation points throughout different periods of Japanese history, enabling local communities to monitor surrounding territories.

The area incorporates the Toyama Municipal Folkcraft Village and Chokeiji Zen Temple, displaying regional crafts and 500 Buddhist Arhats statues.

Visitors can reach the hills via a 10-minute walk from the Minzoku Mingei Mura bus stop or through a 20-minute drive from Toyama Interchange.

The location presents different views each season, with spring bringing cherry blossoms and winter offering clear views of the Tateyama Mountain Range.
