Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum

The museum building features a glass globe sculpture at its entrance, representing themes from Tezuka's essay about protecting Earth's environment.

The museum opened on April 25, 1994, to preserve and display the works of Osamu Tezuka, who lived in Takarazuka from ages 5 to 24.

The entrance hall recreates the palace from 'Princess Knight' manga, while 40 display capsules present original manuscripts and personal items from Tezuka's collection.

The facility operates from Thursday to Tuesday between 9:30 and 17:00, offering a library with 2,000 books including translations in English, Chinese, and Korean.

The museum contains an animation workshop where visitors learn basic animation techniques, with walls depicting the chronological development of animation technology.
