Kirara Genki Dome

Kirara Genki Dome is a multi-purpose venue in Ajisu with a large flexible interior suited for sports events, exhibitions, and public gatherings. The building design allows for different types of activities to take place throughout the year in a single enclosed space.

The dome opened in 2001 as part of the Yamaguchi Kirara EXPO Memorial Park following the expo event. It was built to serve the region with a lasting venue for events after the temporary exhibition closed.

The dome serves as a central venue for regional sports competitions, exhibitions, and community gatherings that bring together residents of Yamaguchi Prefecture.

The venue sits outside the main city center and requires some planning to reach without a car. Checking event schedules and travel directions beforehand helps make a visit more manageable.

The structure functions as both an indoor arena and baseball park, maintained by Yamaguchi Prefecture to support diverse community activities.
