幣掛の滝

Heikake is a mountain waterfall in the Towada area with a drop of about 15 meters that creates white foam when water meets dark rock. The surrounding terrain features steep stone faces and dense forest that frame the falls.

The waterfall received its name from an old Shinto practice of hanging printed paper strips to express spiritual connection to the place. This naming tradition reflects the region's long spiritual heritage.
