Tohoku Electric Power Natori Sports Park, Sports complex in Natori, Japan
Tohoku Electric Power Natori Sports Park was a sports complex featuring multiple athletic fields, tennis courts, baseball stadiums, and a running track spread across spacious grounds in Natori. The facility brought together different sports disciplines in one location for training and competition.
The complex opened in 1998 as an employee welfare facility by Tohoku Electric Power Company and later became accessible to the general public. Following the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, the park ceased operations in 2012.
The park's facilities hosted notable Japanese entertainment events, including SMAP's BIRDMAN Tour in 1999 and the a-nation music festival in 2007.
The site is no longer accessible as a sports park since it closed in 2012. The grounds have since been repurposed, making a visit to the former sports complex not possible.
The venue hosted major music events including the a-nation festival in 2007 and a tour by a prominent Japanese pop group in 1999. These events show the site served entertainment purposes beyond its original sports function.
