Sportsland SUGO

Yamaha Motor opened this racing venue in 1975, starting with motorcycle competitions. The venue grew over the following years to include additional racing categories and disciplines.

The facility maintains four distinct racing courses, including road racing, motocross, trials, and karting tracks, serving multiple motorsport disciplines in northern Japan.

The venue sits thirty minutes from Sendai Airport and can be reached via the Tohoku Expressway using the Murata exit. Access to different tracks depends on the event schedule.

The main course offers different approach routes to the final corner depending on whether motorcycles or cars are racing. This arrangement allows both vehicle types to use the same track section with optimized lines.
