Tojo-ji Temple displays the Ryokai Mandala paintings, which represent the Buddhist realms of enlightenment according to Esoteric Buddhist teachings.
The temple opens its treasure hall, Homotsukan, twice annually from March 20 to May 25 and September 20 to November 25 for public viewing.
The second floor of Homotsukan features a Tang Dynasty statue of Tobatsubishamon-ten alongside other religious sculptures from different periods.
