Matsumi Park

Matsumi Park spans across green spaces featuring a large pond filled with koi fish, walking paths, and numerous recreational areas for visitors.

The park was established on June 1, 1976, as part of the urban development initiatives in Tsukuba to create public spaces for community recreation.

Throughout the year, the park hosts seasonal celebrations and community gatherings where residents participate in outdoor activities and cultural festivals.

Visitors can access the observation tower to view panoramic landscapes, feed koi fish with food available at the tower ticket booth, and use playground equipment.

The park contains an observation tower shaped like a bottle opener, which stands as a distinguishing feature in the Tsukuba cityscape.
