JAXA Tsukuba Space Center

The JAXA Tsukuba Space Center is a research complex with workshops for satellite construction, rocket development facilities, and laboratories dedicated to space technology. The site also includes public exhibition areas where visitors can view equipment and learn about Japan's space activities.

This center was founded in 1972 as a cornerstone of the Tsukuba Science City project and became the primary hub for Japan's space research operations. The facility later became the headquarters for training Japanese astronauts.
