Otemachi Tower

Otemachi Tower is a 38-story skyscraper in Tokyo's business district that rises roughly 200 meters from the ground. The building features floor-to-ceiling glass and vertical aluminum fins that create a clean, modern appearance.

Construction began in November 2009, replacing the former Fuji Bank headquarters complex that previously stood on the site. The building was completed in April 2014, marking a turning point in the area's development.

The tower houses the headquarters of Mizuho Bank alongside a luxury hotel, showing how finance and hospitality coexist in Tokyo's business core. This blend shapes how people move through and experience the space daily.

The tower sits directly above the intersection of five subway lines at Otemachi Station, with underground passages connecting it to multiple transit options. Getting around the building and accessing different areas is straightforward thanks to clear internal signage.

Hidden at ground level within the tower complex is a forest space called Otemori, covering around 3,600 square meters. This planted area occupies about one-third of the site's ground footprint and offers a natural escape amid the urban surroundings.
