海老名中央公園

Ebina Central Park is an urban recreation space divided into three sections: a central plaza with a stage for events, a memorial area with monuments, and a quiet zone with a pagoda structure. The park connects directly to the station and provides different areas for activity and relaxation.

The pagoda structure was completed in 1992 and was modeled after the ancient Sagami Kokubun-ji temple from the Nara period. It serves as a modern reference to this historical site that shaped the region's past.

The park regularly hosts handmade craft markets where local artisans display their work. These gatherings help visitors connect with regional creativity and traditional craftsmanship in a casual setting.

The park provides parking facilities and is easily accessible by foot from the station. Visitors can choose between the different zones depending on whether they want activity or a quieter experience.

An artificial stream runs through the park during specific hours of the day, especially in warmer months. This water feature provides a refreshing element and creates a quieter spot during hot weather.
