Mount Karasuo

Mount Karasuo rises to 1,136 meters (3,727 feet) within the Tanzawa Mountains and offers several hiking routes with varying difficulty levels. The slopes feature multiple paths that lead to different viewpoints and elevations across the terrain.

The mountain takes its name from its shape, which resembles a crow's tail, reflecting the Japanese practice of naming geographical features after natural observations. This naming tradition shows how climbers and local residents have perceived and interpreted their surroundings over generations.
