Sayama Ski Resort, Indoor ski slope in Kami-Yamaguchi, Japan
Sayama Ski Resort is an indoor slope measuring 300 meters long and 30 meters wide with artificial snow production. Two single lifts serve the slope, and a separate children's snow park with dedicated facilities provides learning space for younger visitors.
The facility underwent major reconstruction in 2019 and reopened in autumn 2020 with enhanced amenities. This renovation allowed the resort to expand its offerings for a wider range of visitors.
The resort attracts families and beginners who come to practice on snow that is guaranteed year-round. Local events throughout the seasons bring together people interested in winter sports and summer water activities.
The resort is just three minutes walk from Seibu-kyujo-mae station, making it easy to reach. Equipment rentals are available on-site, so you do not need to bring your own skis.
During summer months, the indoor ski slope transforms into a water park with a 220-meter slide. This dual-use design allows the facility to serve guests year-round with changing attractions.
