Mount Jii

Mount Jii rises to 2,825 meters within the Ushirotateyama Mountain Range, featuring steep cliffs and rocky formations throughout its terrain. The summit offers hikers multiple access routes and marked trails suitable for different skill levels.

For centuries, the mountain paths served as a key connection between Toyama and Nagano, where local communities conducted trade across these routes. These ancient trading passages shaped its role as an important passage between the two regions.
