National Tax College

The National Tax College is a training facility in Wako that educates specialists for Japan's tax administration. It combines classroom instruction in tax law and financial administration with hands-on experience at tax offices throughout the country.

The institution was established in 1947 as a financial training school and later became the main center for educating tax specialists. In 1964, it gained its current status as the primary training facility for Japan's national tax administration.
