Funabashi Sports Park, Park in Japan

Funabashi Sports Park is a public sports park in the Natsumidai district of Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture. It holds the Funabashi Municipal Baseball Stadium, an athletics track, tennis courts, an archery hall, an outdoor pool that becomes an ice rink in winter, and a general gymnasium. The grounds also include a disc golf course, jogging paths, and the Hotaru no Sato firefly area.

The park opened in November 1965. On 1 January 2021, a designated manager system was introduced, with the "Funa-Spo Ikiiki Park Partners Group" taking charge of this park and Kodama Park; the group's current term runs to 31 March 2031. The baseball ground also serves as a venue for the Chiba tournament of the National High School Baseball Championship.

The park's mascot is Ase Ippei-kun, created when Funabashi declared itself a sports and health city; his figure appears on park signage. The baseball stadium hosts the Chiba preliminary rounds of the national high school baseball championship, and the grounds also serve as an evacuation site for nearby residents, with space for a helicopter to land.

The site is easily accessible by public transportation and has parking available nearby. Visitors should know that a swimming pool with a water slide is open during summer months, and that certain facilities like sports fields and tennis courts may require a fee, while general park access is free.
