Ōhi Shrine

Ōhi Shrine is a Shinto sanctuary in Miyamoto built in the traditional Shinmei-zukuri style. The building features simple wooden construction with a steep roof and natural materials that blend into the surrounding woodland.

The shrine was founded to maintain faith in fertility and good harvests, as was common in many rural regions of Japan. Over time it became an important religious place for the local community.
