Ryōsei-ji, Buddhist temple in Yanagawa, Japan.

Ryōsei-ji is a Jōdo-shū Buddhist temple in the Nishi-uoyamachi district of Yanagawa, Fukuoka Prefecture. It was founded in 1621 by Tachibana Muneshige, and its name comes from the posthumous Buddhist name of his wife Ginchiyo, "Kōshō-in-den Senyo Ryōsei Daizenjō-ni". The first abbot was Ōyo, a son of the Shigemasu Kamachi line and fourth abbot of Raikō-ji in Setaka.

Tachibana Muneshige founded Ryōsei-ji in 1621, inviting the priest Ōyo to serve as founding abbot, to pray for his wife Ginchiyo, daughter of Tachibana Dōsetsu. The temple name comes from her posthumous Buddhist name, Kōshō-in-den Senyo Ryōsei Daizenjōni. By 1660 it held a 30-koku fief, fifth among the domain's temples.

The temple is the family temple of the蒲池 (Kamachi) clan of the Yanagawa domain, and its abbots have come from that lineage down to the present. The singer Seiko Matsuda, born Kamachi Noriko, counts it as the family temple of her birthplace. The name Ryōsei-ji comes from Ginchiyo's posthumous Buddhist name, Kōshō-in-den Senyo Ryōsei Daizenjō-ni.

Ryōsei-ji stands in Nishiuoyamachi, Yanagawa, Fukuoka Prefecture, a short walk from Nishitetsu-Yanagawa Station on the Nishitetsu Tenjin Ōmuta Line. The temple is the family temple of the蒲池 family, whose descendants still serve as its priests.

The temple name comes from Ginchiyo's posthumous Buddhist name, Kōshō-in-den Senyo Ryōsei Daizenjōni. Her husband Tachibana Muneshige founded Ryōsei-ji in 1621 and invited the priest Ōyo, son of a Yanagawa castle lord, to serve as its first abbot.
