Chausuyama Dinasour Park

Chausuyama Dinosaur Park is a display of 25 life-sized dinosaur statues arranged chronologically within a large botanical garden space. A 25-meter diplodocus forms the centerpiece of the exhibition.

The park was established in 1980, blending prehistoric education with outdoor recreation from the start. This combination of learning and leisure has made it a destination for visitors interested in both nature and ancient life.

The statues stand within a Japanese garden setting where visitors walk among the replicas and experience traditional landscape design around them. As you move through different sections, you encounter the models arranged in a way that mirrors how time progressed through prehistoric ages.

The location is easy to reach and offers ample parking for those arriving by car. The best time to visit is between April and November, as the facility closes during winter months.

Around 80 cherry blossom trees line the entrance path, creating a pink backdrop behind the dinosaur statues when they bloom in spring. This unusual mix of prehistoric figures and flowering trees creates a striking contrast.
