Chausuyama Dinasour Park

The park displays 25 life-sized dinosaur statues arranged chronologically from different geological periods, including a 25-meter-long diplodocus at the center of the exhibition.

The establishment of Chausuyama Dinosaur Park on July 27, 1980, marked the beginning of a recreational facility combining prehistoric education with outdoor activities in Nagano.

The park incorporates educational elements through interactive dinosaur models while maintaining Japanese garden design principles within its 33-hectare botanical space.

The facility operates daily from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with free admission and includes a parking area for 520 vehicles, though it closes annually from December to March.

Eighty cherry blossom trees line the entrance path, creating a seasonal display where prehistoric replicas stand among spring flowers.
