Ishiba-ji, Buddhist temple in Higashiōmi, Japan.

The temple contains a 3.56-meter-tall sandalwood statue of Senju Kannon, featuring multiple faces and thousand arms within its main building.

Prince Shotoku established Ishiba-ji in 594 after his horse transformed into stone and sank into a nearby pond during his visit.

The temple belongs to the Rinzai sect of Buddhism and maintains wooden plaques inscribed with three kanji characters representing its name.

The temple grounds include multiple structures, gardens, and meditation paths along the eastern shore of Lake Biwa near Mount Kinugasa.

The main statue of Senju Kannon was reconstructed using sandalwood imported from India following a devastating fire in 1993.
