徳生公園, Urban park in Yokohama, Japan.
Tokuseikouen Park is an urban green space in Yokohama featuring a large artificial pond at its center with walking paths encircling the water. Ducks and kingfishers inhabit the pond, and visitors can observe them while moving through the park.
The park opened on December 25, 1998, in the Tsuzuki ward as part of an urban development project. This green space emerged during a period of growth and renewal in Yokohama.
The park hosts an annual Waterfront Festival each September where lanterns float on the pond and students perform. This seasonal gathering brings the community together to enjoy the water and the evening celebrations.
The park sits about 15 minutes on foot from Center-Kita Station on the Yokohama Municipal Subway, making it reasonably accessible by public transport. Plenty of space allows for leisurely walks around the entire pond and grounds.
The park connects with neighboring green spaces through the Seseragi-no-michi path system, a network linking multiple natural areas together. This allows visitors to take extended walks and explore different green zones without leaving the connected system.
